In 1977, NASA created the Golden Records, two time capsules they sent into space, filled with music, images, and sounds that showed what makes life on Earth so beautiful. The idea was that if someone, somewhere out there ever found them, they’d get a glimpse of what it means to be human and to connect with one another.

That idea has always stuck with me. When I started Super Planet Media in 2018, I wanted my films to have that same kind of spirit. I wanted to make films that capture love, connection, and all the small, personal moments that make life so special. For me, wedding films aren’t just about reliving the day (though I love that part too). They’re about creating something you can share, something that tells your story in a way that makes the people you love feel like they were right there with you.

Just like those Golden Records, I believe sharing a story is one of the greatest gifts you can give. And that’s why I feel so lucky every time I get to capture a wedding day. It’s not just a film, it’s a little time capsule for your family.

Or that long, tight hug with an old friend who traveled from out of state just to celebrate with you. It’s Grandma absolutely owning the dance floor the second Bruno Mars plays (because, let’s be real, grandmas love Bruno Mars). And it’s all of those giddy, can-you-believe-it giggles you and your partner share throughout the day—because this is the day you get married.

I’m a sucker for romantic comedies and coming-of-age films, so it’s no surprise I found my way into documenting real-life love stories for a living.
